Quick Bits was established over 70 years ago by Ervin Quick. Mike Quick has been making bits since 1963 and continues to carry on Ervin's top-quality handcrafting tradition. A professional horseman, Mike began showing horses and riding gymkhanas in grade school.

Mike roped professionally for over 20 years, winning the Sierra Circuit calf roping championship and placing 2nd in Team Roping at the PRCA National Finals Rodeo (NFR).
Mike competed on the Team Penning Circuit where he won 2 World Championships and is featured in the instructional video "The Penning Tape." He also trails rides for both pleasure and relaxation.
